Denver Low Carb Living Meetup Group Message Board › Low Carb Products and Where to Find Them in Denver

I'm looking for places to purchase good very low-carb (i.e. 6g or less of regular carbs (not net carbs) pre-made products in the Denver area to substitute for things like bread, crackers, sweets and those things that help when a big carb craving hits and is not satisfied with the typical protein/veg/fruit routine. I've found some mixes and such online, but would like to buy local if possible. Most pre-made products of this type in grocery stores are have too many carbs per serving for my program, including the protein bars, burrito wraps, etc. Are there any specialty shops in Denver? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Hi there! I can tell you there are no specifically low-carb retail outlets in Denver...the last one closed last year...
However, I'd love to discuss other options, including good mixes available online, and my own recipes for "decadent" but "safe" goodies. I'm planning another meetup social later in the month, so make sure you try to make it, and we'll discuss...including some feedback from other members! If you can't wait that long, email me thru the site and let's talk about some "quick fixes" like good and healthy chocolate, and "emergency cheesecake". Speak to you soon, Bridget |

Thanks Bridget, I'll look for the next meeting date. In the meantime, I'll check out the recipes that you all have already posted. Hoping that will get me through those random cravings. It's nice to have a place to exchange tips and information. Thanks Again, Kim
